• Ingredients

    1 jar Zee’s Shakshuka sauce

    8 organic eggs

    ½ red onion, finely chopped

    1/3 cup crumbled feta

    Handful fresh parsley

    1 green onion, trimmed and chopped

    1 cup fresh spinach or kale, finely chopped

    1 medium avocado, sliced

    Crusty bread, toasted

    Zee’s lemon preserve - optional

    Zee’s paprika oil – optional

  • Directions

    In a 10 inch pan or skillet, with a lid, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Sauté your onions for 3-4 minutes and then add the spinach and cook for another 4 minutes until soft. 

    Pour in Shakshuka sauce and toss through. Using a spoon make wells for your eggs. 

    Crack an egg into each well then cover your pan and cook for 5-8 minutes, depending on how firm you like your yolks.  If you like your yolks runny take it off the heat after 5 minutes. If you like your yolks firm cook them for up to 8 mins. They will continue to cook once you’ve taken them off the heat. 

    Remove pan from the heat and top with green onions, parsley, feta, and avocado. Delicious topped with Zee’s lemon preserve and paprika oil. Serve with crusty bread.
